Join us as we explore the wonders of space. Kids will engineer rocket ships\, explore different careers\, learn about the solar system\, and develop a story for an alien friend.   \nSpecial Programs | Daily at 1:30 p.m.\n\nJanuary 1 – January 5\nRocket Science: Join our Rocket Science experience and become an aerospace engineer for a day! Guests of all ages will design and build their own rockets using recycled materials while exploring the engineering design process.   \nJanuary 6 – January 11\nCareers in Space: Do you have what it takes to become an astronaut? Join us for a hands-on program where you’ll complete physical exercises\, test your skills with space-themed tasks\, and experience the challenges of working in astronaut gear! Get ready to train like space explorers!  \nJanuary 14 – January 19\nPlanets & Stars: Get ready to explore the night sky! At Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville\, we’re diving into the wonders of the planets and stars in our solar system. Children will use everyday materials to craft their own constellation tubes\, bringing the magic of the cosmos to life and discovering constellations all around us.  \nJanuary 20 – January 31\nAlien Life: Roll the dice and create your own alien! Discover what your alien looks like\, the planet it calls home\, and the unique traits it will inherit\, all determined by the roll of the dice. Let your imagination take off on this intergalactic adventure!  \nGet Museum Admission
