Through inspiring stories of trailblazing athletes\, children will learn about teamwork\, determination\, healthy bodies\, and believing in themselves. During this special member morning\, kids will paint and decorate their own festive fans inspired by Lunar New Year traditions.   \nLunar New Year (all day) | February 17\, 2026\nCelebrate Lunar New Year with color\, creativity\, and tradition in our Art Studio! We are going to bring cardiovascular health to life by making a DIY lung model to see how breathing fuels movement to keep us active and healthy.  \nFebruary 17 – 23:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIce Skating Magnetics Game: Glide into hands-on fun with our Ice Skating Magnetics Game! DESCRIPTION:Sensory-friendly hours are monthly and happen on the first Sunday of every month from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.\nWe’re inviting all families with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)\, Sensory Processing Disorders and vision or hearing impairments and their caregivers to come and interact with the experiences we offer at our Rockingham location. \nThe event is for children with sensory sensitivities and special needs to enjoy private time in the Museum’s hands-on exhibit spaces and to explore in a calmer\, quieter environment. Come and experience everything that Discovery Place Kids–Rockingham has to offer. \nThis experience is included in Museum Admission.  \nGET MUSEUM ADMISSION
