Join us for fun themed activities during the week all month long.
April 1 – 7: Build the Change: Join us for Build the Change, where children will use LEGO bricks to design creative solutions for real-world biodiversity and climate challenges! From building animal-friendly habitats to designing eco-friendly cities, this hands-on activity encourages problem solving and environmental awareness through play.
April 8 – 14: Digging Deeper: Get your hands dirty while digging deeper! Kids will explore the wonders of soil, discover what lies beneath our feet and why dirt is essential for our planet. Then, we’ll create air-dry clay impressions using leaves, rocks and more to capture nature’s texture in a fun way!
April 15 – 21: Rising Seas: Dive into Rising Seas, where children will explore the impact of rising sea levels using topographical mapping techniques. Through hands-on activities, they’ll track changes in sea level and discover how geography and climate shape our world.
April 22 – 30: Bug Hotel Builders: Help give bugs a cozy new home in Bug Hotel Builders! Kids will use recyclable materials to create sage habitats for helpful insects like bees, ladybugs, and butterflies. Along the way, they’ll learn why bugs are important for our environment and how small actions make a big impact!

Storybook Ball

Celebrate the magic of stories at our Storybook Ball, an evening where literature comes to life! Enjoy a night of creativity, imagination, and community as we bring beloved books off the page and into an immersive experience. Explore beloved classics and new favorites, with interactive activity stations, character meet-and-greets and live performances.
Hippity Hoppity Egg-stravaganza!
Date: April 19th, 2025
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Take part in a spring Egg-stravaganza! Hop around the museum and hunt for eggs throughout all of the exhibits! But don’t forget to find the Easter Bunny for a cute family photo!

Puppet Show (Wednesdays and Saturdays at 1:30 p.m.)
April Show: The Shell Games: Embark on an ocean adventure with Miranda the Mermaid and her ocean friends! As they explore the sea, they discover the importance of keeping their home clean and protecting marine life!
Science Show (Daily at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.)
Join us at the Science Lab all month for science experiments.
Story Time (Sundays at 1:30 p.m.)
