What is the DP Kids Circle?
The DP Kids Circle is a giving society that supports Discovery Place Kids–Rockingham, where more than 30,000 children and families each year engage in hands-on learning guided by North Carolina education standards. Kids explore science, math, literacy, and life skills like collaboration and critical thinking while discovering local careers.
Since opening, the museum has become a cornerstone of Richmond County—revitalizing downtown, fostering curiosity, and offering educational opportunities to children from 45 North Carolina counties and 29 states.
Your support ensures all children have access to inspiring, life-changing experiences. Each year, 7,000 children and families (nearly 25% of annual guests) visit through the Welcome economic accessibility program, and Richmond County residents enjoy reduced admission so every child can participate.
