June 1 – 9: Severe Weather Science: Let’s explore the science behind lightning and thunder! Kids will get hands-on with a Van de Graaff machine to see how static electricity works and discover what causes nature’s loudest booms.

June 10 – 16: Hurricane Science: Dive into the swirling world of hurricanes as we create our very own storm in a bowl! Kids will learn how these powerful storms form and what makes them spin, all through a fun hands-on experiment.

June 17 – 23: Wild Winds: In this tornado engineering challenge, kids will design and build structures with boxes – then put them to the test to see if they can stand strong against the winds. Can your building pass the test?

June 24 – 30: Sun Science: Discovery the sunny side of science as we explore how rainbows are made! Kids will learn about light and color, create their own rainbow, and make a beautiful suncatcher craft to take home and brighten any window!
