The Three Little Pigs: Get ready for a hilarious twist on the classic tale of The Three Little Pigs: as told by The Big Bad Wolf! We will read “The True Story of The Three Little Pigs” by Jon Scieskca and children will have a chance to build their own versions of the three little pig’s houses.
March 10 – 16
Rhyme Time: Discover the magic of poetry through catchy rhymes and silly sounds! After reading “Sheep in a Jeep” by Nancy Shaw and Margot Apple, we will create our own silly rhyming stories!
March 17 – 23
The Greatness in You: Join us as we read The Greatness in You by Tameka Fryer Brown and discover the unique strengths that make each of us special. After our story, we’ll explore positive character traits and create a “Character Pastabilities” necklace using pasta beads to represent the greatness we carry inside
March 24 – 31
Fairy Tale Fiasco: Step into the silly, mixed-up world of The Great Fairy Tale Disaster by David Conway and discover what happens when classic fairy tales don’t go as planned! After the story, children will create their own mixed up fairy tales using shadow boxes, flashlights, and puppets to bring their wacky, one-of-a-kind stories to life.
